MODULE-ENGINE CONTROL

REMOVAL




1. Disconnect negative battery (1) cable.
2. Remove air cleaner housing assembly.




3. Disconnect both ECM electrical connectors by pulling tabs at ends of connectors.
4. Remove ECM bracket (2) retaining bolts (3) and remove ECM and bracket (2) assembly from vehicle.




5. Remove ECM to bracket retaining nuts (3) and remove ECM (1) from bracket (2).

INSTALLATION




1. Install ECM (1) on mounting bracket (2). Torque nuts (3) to 10.7 N.m (95 lbs. in.).




2. Install ECM (1) and mounting bracket (2) assembly in vehicle.
3. Connect both ECM electrical connectors.




4. Install air cleaner housing assembly.
5. Connect negative battery (1) cable.
6. Reprogram ECM.
