Section 103 (Engine Cooling System): Engine: Radiator: Removal

- Disconnect the negative battery cable from battery.
- Drain the cooling system. (Refer to COOLING/ENGINE - STANDARD PROCEDURE - DRAINING COOLING SYSTEM) .
- Disconnect throttle body air inlet hose, remove air cleaner housing assembly. Refer to AIR CLEANER HOUSING .
- Remove oil cooler attaching fasteners. Do Not disconnect oil cooler lines. Reposition oil cooler.
- Remove radiator fan fasteners. Do Not disconnect radiator fan hydraulic lines. Reposition radiator fan. See Figure.
- Disconnect upper and lower radiator hoses.
- Remove the radiator mounting bolts. See Figure.
- Remove A/C condenser mounting fasteners. See Fig 1.
- Remove radiator from engine compartment. Care should be taken not to damage radiator cooling fins during removal.
