Speed Control Servo Cable

1 - HAIRPIN CLIP

Install cable core wire through center hole on bracket, onto servo center post.
Install retaining clip to cable at servo. See Fig 1.

Slide cable bell housing over servo mounting studs through the bracket.
Install 2 nuts, tighten to 7 N.m (60 in. lbs.).
Slide cables into throttle cable bracket and engage retaining tabs. See Fig 2.

Rotate the throttle cam forward to the wide open position and install speed control cable clasp. See Fig 3.
Rotate the throttle cam forward to the wide open position and install throttle cable clasp.
Install engine cover and throttle control shield, if equipped.
Install the negative battery cable.
Install the air cleaner lid and makeup air hose. Refer to INSTALLATION .
