Speed Control Switch

The speed control switch is mounted in the steering wheel and wired through the clock spring device under the airbag module.

WARNING: If removal of airbag module is necessary, refer to RESTRAINTS - SERVICE INFORMATION .

Connect the electrical connector.

1 - TOP MOUNTING SCREW
Install switch and tighten the screws (1) to 1.6 N.m (15 in. lbs.). Make sure rubber seal is in place around switch.
Install airbag, refer to RESTRAINTS - SERVICE INFORMATION .
Install the negative battery cable.
Install the air cleaner lid, connect the inlet air temperature sensor and makeup air hose.
