- CHECK FOR BCM CAN BUS DTCS
- With the scan tool, read BCM DTCs.
Are there any BCM CAN BUS DTCs present?
Yes
- Refer to DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Body Control (BCM) - Diagnosis and Testing and perform the appropriate symptom(s).
- Perform ABS VERIFICATION TEST. See DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Antilock Brake (ABS) - Standard Procedure .
No
- Go to step 2
- With the scan tool, read BCM DTCs.
- CHECK IF ECM DTCS ARE PRESENT
- With the scan tool, read ECM DTCs.
Are there any ECM DTCs present?
Yes
- Refer to DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Engine Control (ECM) - Diagnosis and Testing and perform the appropriate diagnostic procedure.
- Perform ECM VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Engine Control (ECM) - Standard Procedure .
No
- Replace the Anti-Lock Brake Module in accordance with the Service Information.
- Perform ABS VERIFICATION TEST. See DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Antilock Brake (ABS) - Standard Procedure .
- With the scan tool, read ECM DTCs.
