Upper Spring Stop Plate

  1. Install the spring stop plate (1) and rubber block to the lower control arm. Tighten the M10 bolts (2) to 58 N.m (43 ft. lbs.) or Tighten the M12 X1.5 bolts to 106 N.m (78 ft. lbs.) Plus an additional 90° turn.

  2. Refit the strut (2) and knuckle assembly back into the upper mounting hole (1).
  3. Install the lower stabilizer link nut to the spring stop plate Tighten to 58 N.m (43 ft. lbs.).
  4. Install the rear half of the wheel well liner.
  5. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to INSTALLATION .
  6. Lower the vehicle.

  7. Install the upper strut mounting bolts (3) Tighten the bolts to 28 N.m (21 ft. lbs.).
  8. Install the floor pan screws (1) and floor mat (2).
