Upper Spring Stop Plate

  1. Remove the floor pan screws (1) and floor mat (2) to access the upper strut mount.
  2. Remove the upper strut mounting bolts (3).
  3. Raise and support the vehicle.
  4. Remove the tire and wheel assembly.

  5. Remove the rear half of the wheel well cover to allow the strut (2) to move.

  6. Remove the lower stabilizer link at the spring plate.
  7. Tip the strut and knuckle back to access the spring plate mounting bolts (2).
  8. Remove the spring plate mounting bolts (2) to the lower control arm.
  9. Remove the spring plate (1) and rubber block.
