Rear Spring

NOTE: Larger spring bushing goes toward the front.
  1. Install the spring shackle (8) to the spring (if removed). Tighten to 90 N.m (66 ft. lbs.) (SRW) or 185 N.m (136 ft. lbs.) (DRW).
  2. Install the spring nut (1) and bolt (11) to the front spring bracket. Tighten to 95 N.m (70 ft. lbs.) (SRW) or 185 N.m (136 ft. lbs.) (DRW).
  3. Install the rear of the spring nut (5) and bolt (6) to the rear spring bracket. Tighten to 85 N.m (63 ft. lbs.) (SRW) or 185 N.m (136 ft. lbs.) (DRW).
  4. Raise the rear axle (10) and attach the spring plate (4) and U-bolts (3). Tighten the nuts (9) to 170 N.m (125 ft. lbs.).

  5. Install the lower shock bolts (3). Tighten to 106 N.m (70 ft. lbs.) (M12 X 1.5 bolt) or 135 N.m (100 ft. lbs.) (M14 X 1.5 bolt).
  6. Lower the vehicle.
