Install generator through the axle shaft hole in wheel well.

Put generator on upper T-bolt and loosen install the nut.

Install the lower mounting bracket for the generator to the block and tighten bolts to 54 N.m (40 ft. lbs.).

1 - LOWER PIVOT BOLT
Loose install the lower pivot bolt for the generator.

1 - FIELD CONNECTOR

2 - BATTERY CONNECTION
Install the B+ terminal nut (2) and B+ terminal. Tighten nut to 11.3 N.m (100 in. lbs.).

Plug in the field circuit connector (1) to generator.

Install the axle shaft assembly. Refer to Differential and Driveline/Half Shaft - Installation .

2 - PENCIL STRUT

3 - NUT

4 - FLAT WASHER

5 - LOWER TORQUE STRUT

Tighten the accessory drive belt t-bolt and tighten nut to 54 N.m (40 ft. lbs.).
Tighten the lower generator pivot bolt and tighten bolts to 54 N.m (40 ft. lbs.).
Install the pencil strut (2) tighten to 52 N.m (38 ft. lbs.).

1 - ACCESSORY DRIVE BELT SPLASH SHIELD
Install the generator heat shield.
Install the lower heat shield bolt and tighten bolt to 54 N.m (40 ft. lbs.).
Install the accessory drive splash shield (1).
Install the right front wheel.
Lower vehicle.

Install nut to the upper adjustment bracket and tighten to 25 N.m (18 ft. lbs.).
Install the 2 bolts to the heat shield on the generator and tighten bolts to 4.5 N.m (40 in. lbs.).
Connect the negative battery cable.
