RADIATOR, Engine Cooling: Installation: Radiator

  1. Position the A/C condenser onto the radiator.
  2. Slide the radiator/condenser assembly into position and seat the radiator assembly lower rubber isolators in the mount holes.
  3. Install the mounting brackets to the upper core support using two Torx screws.
  4. Install A/C lines to condenser/cooler.
  5. Install transmission oil cooler tubes support bracket to radiator (2). Tighten mounting screws to 5 N.m (45 in. lbs.).
  6. Position radiator cooling fans on radiator.

  7. Connect cooling fan electrical connector (1).
  8. Install upper and lower radiator hoses at radiator.
  9. Install the grille. Refer to Body/Exterior/GRILLE - Installation .
  10. Install front bottom splash shield (if equipped).
  11. Install under belly pan (if equipped).
  12. Fill cooling system. See Cooling - Standard Procedure .
  13. Charge A/C system. Refer to Heating and Air Conditioning/Plumbing - Standard Procedure .
  14. Install air box assembly.
  15. Connect negative battery cable.
  16. Install engine cover.
