Power Control Relay
REMOVAL
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the Power Control Relay (PCR) cover.
- Disconnect the wire harness connector from the PCR.
1 - PCR 2 - B+ Eyelet Terminals 3 - Wire Harness Connector 4 - Nuts - Remove two nuts and remove the B+ eyelet terminals from the PCR.
- Remove the two nuts securing the PCR to the PCR bracket to remove it from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION
Follow the removal procedure in reverse for general reassembly of the components on the vehicle. The steps listed below are calling out specific procedures that should be followed during installation.
- Position the PCR to the PCR bracket using two nuts and tighten to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect both of the B+ eyelet terminals to the PCR using two nuts and tighten to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
