Start Injector Time Switch

  1. Disconnect start injector time switch connector. Measure resistance between terminals. See Fig 1 . When coolant temperature is greater than 75°F (24°C), resistance between terminals No. 1 and No. 2 should be 67-79 ohms.
  2. Resistance between terminals No. 1 and No. 3 should be 67 79 ohms. Resistance between terminals No. 2 and No. 3 should be 140 155 ohms.
  3. When coolant temperature is less than 68°F (20°C), resistance between terminals No. 1 and No. 2 should be 33-41 ohms.
  4. Resistance between terminals No. 1 and No. 3 should be 33 41 ohms. Resistance between terminals No. 2 and No. 3 should be zero ohms.
