Ignition Systems - Optical: Description

The Optical Distributor is controlled by the microprocessor powered Single Board Engine Controller (SMEC). The SMEC provides an infinite number of advance curves to reduce engine emissions and improve driveability. This allows ignition of lean air/fuel mixtures according to differing modes of engine operation.
