Detonation Sensor

The detonation sensor is mounted in the intake manifold in such a position so sensor can detect detonation in any cylinder. This sensor generates an input signal to SMEC when detonation occurs. This allows SMEC to adjust spark advance and boost schedules to eliminate detonation.
