Interior Light Test 6A - Key-In Light On Constantly

NOTE: Perform INSTRUMENT CLUSTER TEST 1A before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification and wiring diagrams, see appropriate sections in this article. Perform VERIFICATION TEST VER-1A after each repair.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.

Turn ignition off. Access Body Control Module (BCM). BCM is located with junction block. See Figure in CHIME TEST 2A. Disconnect "A" connector. If key-in light is no longer illuminated, replace BCM. If key-in light is still illuminated, repair driver circuit (Red/Yellow wire) between BCM "A" connector, terminal No. 17 and light for short to ground.
