  1. Clear trouble codes as needed. Using scan tool, read driver's door zone switch voltage. If LF DOOR ZONE SWITCH voltage is about 3 volts, replace driver's door lock switch. If LF DOOR ZONE SWITCH voltage is not about 3 volts, go to next step.
  2. Operate driver's door lock switch to lock position and observe voltage on scan tool. Do not hold switch in lock position for more than 7 seconds or code will set. If LF DOOR ZONE SWITCH voltage is about 3 volts, go to next step. If LF DOOR ZONE SWITCH voltage is not about 3 volts, replace driver's door lock switch.
  3. Operate driver's door lock switch several times from unlock to lock position. Release switch. With switch in neutral position, observe scan tool voltage. If LF DOOR ZONE SWITCH voltage is about 5 volts, system is currently functioning correctly. If LF DOOR ZONE SWITCH voltage is not about 5 volts, replace driver's door lock switch.
