Compass/Mini-Trip Computer (CMTC)

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2000 Plymouth Breeze, 2000 Dodge Stratus, 2000 Chrysler Sebring, and 2000 Chrysler Cirrus. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Available only on Sebring Convertible, the Compass/Mini-Trip Computer (CMTC) is located on right side of instrument cluster. See COMPONENT LOCATIONS . This dual-function display provides a digital readout of ambient (outside) temperature and 8 primary compass readings to indicate the direction in which vehicle is facing.

To calibrate CMTC, see COMPASS CALIBRATION  under PROGRAMMING. The word CAL will be displayed to indicate that the compass is in the fast calibrating mode. The CAL display may be turned off after the vehicle has completed 3 circles without stopping, in an area free of magnetic disturbance.
