System Tests: Notes

CAUTION: Ensure ignition switch is in OFF position prior to disconnecting any system control module or vehicle battery. Damage to control modules could occur, if power is directly removed from some control modules.
NOTE: A scan tool with 2000 diagnostic program cartridge, body diagnostics cable, oil pressure gauge, jumper wires, and DVOM will be needed for system tests. To access Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC), proceed to RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTC)  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
