DRBIII(R) State Display Test Mode

The switch inputs to Powertrain Control Module (PCM) have 2 recognized states; HIGH and LOW. For this reason, PCM cannot recognize difference between a selected switch position versus an open circuit, a short circuit, or a defective switch. If State Display screen shows change from HIGH to LOW or LOW to HIGH, assume entire switch circuit to PCM functions properly. From state display screen, access either State Display Inputs and Outputs or State Display Sensors.
