Removal & Installation
NOTE:
The manifold absolute pressure sensor is mounted on drivers side of intake manifold.
- Disconnect electrical connector from MAP sensor. Remove MAP sensor mounting screws. A vacuum hose on bottom of MAP sensor connects to sensor to a vacuum fitting on intake manifold plenum. See Fig 1. Pull MAP sensor and vacuum hose off of intake manifold.
- Install MAP sensor and vacuum hose to intake manifold. Install MAP sensor mounting screws and tighten mounting screws to 3 N.m (23 INCH lbs.). Connect electrical connector to MAP sensor.
