Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove one overhead console-to-roof bracket retaining screw, located at front of overhead console. Carefully grasp both sides of overhead console in area between garage door opener storage bin and storage bin for sunglasses. Pull downward evenly on overhead console to disengage rear snap clips. Lower overhead console down to access electrical connector. Disconnect overhead console electrical connector. Remove overhead console.
  2. Remove 4 CMTC-to-overhead console retaining screws. Pull CMTC away from overhead console to access electrical connector. Disconnect CMTC electrical connector. Remove CMTC. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten CMTC-to-overhead console retaining screws to 20 INCH lbs. (2 N.m). Calibrate compass and set variance. See COMPASS CALIBRATION PROCEDURE  and COMPASS VARIANCE PROCEDURE  under PROGRAMMING.
