Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect and isolate negative battery cable. Remove overhead console. See OVERHEAD CONSOLE  .
  2. Remove 4 CMTC-to-overhead console retaining screws. Pull CMTC away from overhead console to access harness connector. Disconnect CMTC harness connector. Remove CMTC.
  3. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten CMTC-to-overhead console retaining screws to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Calibrate compass and set variance. See COMPASS CALIBRATION  and COMPASS VARIANCE PROCEDURE  under PROGRAMMING.
