Ignition Coil: Removal

Release the fuel pressure, refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE - FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE PROCEDURE .
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the air cleaner assembly, refer to AIR CLEANER ELEMENT for more information.
Remove the Intake Manifold, refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD for more information.
Unlock and disconnect the electrical connector at the ignition coils. See Fig 1 and Fig 2.

Twist and remove the ignition cables from the ignition coil.
Remove the 4 bolts. See Fig 3.

Remove ignition coil.
