DESCRIPTION

The Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor (APPS) is a variable resistor that provides the PCM with an input signal (voltage) that represents the Accelerator Pedal Position. As the position of the Accelerator Pedal position changes, the resistance of the APPS changes.
