Module, Hands Free: Removal: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the HVAC control panel. Refer to CONTROL, A/C AND HEATER, REMOVAL .

  3. Remove the trim piece (3) in front of the Hands Free Module (HFM) to access the connectors (1, 2).

  4. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the HFM and the USB connector (1) if equipped.
  5. Remove the hands free module mounting fasteners.
  6. Remove the HFM from the vehicle.
