CAUTION:

Replacement Power Top Control Module (PTCM) must be configured for the proper vehicle application. Failure to do so will result in improper top operation and possible component damage.

  1. Position the Power Top Control Module (PTCM) (4) onto the mounting studs of the lower left quarter panel (1).
  2. Install the two PTCM retaining nuts (2).
  3. Connect the PTCM electrical connectors (3).
  4. Install the left lower quarter trim panel. Refer to PANEL, QUARTER TRIM, INSTALLATION .
  5. Connect the battery negative cable.
  6. Using an appropriate diagnostic scan tool, perform PTCM initial configuration for convertible soft top or retractable hard top application.
