Sentry Key Immobilizer Module (SKREEM) - Installation






INSTALLATION





When a PCM and the SKREEM/WCM are replaced at the same time, perform the following steps in order Testing and Inspection.

- Program the new PCM.
- Program the new SKREEM/WCM.
- Replace all ignition keys and program them to the new SKREEM/WCM.

1. Position the SKREEM/WCM (3) on the ignition lock housing and install the retaining screw (2).





2. Connect the SKREEM/WCM electrical connector (4).

NOTE: On vehicles equipped with the optional Sentry Key Immobilizer System (SKIS), when the SKREEM is replaced with a new unit, a diagnostic scan tool MUST be used to initialize the new SKREEM and to program at least two Sentry Key transponders before the vehicle can be operated Programming and Relearning.

3. Connect the battery negative cable.
