Arm, Lower Control: Removal
- Raise and support vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove wheel mounting bolts, then tire and wheel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL

- For left side only, remove the through bolt (3). Refer to INSULATOR, ENGINE MOUNT, REAR, REMOVAL
.
- Remove stabilizer link stud through lower control arm nut (2).
- Remove lower ball joint retaining nut (3) to lower control arm and using (special tool #C-3894-A, Puller, Tie Rod) separate ball joint from control arm.
- For right side, remove the front horizontal bolt (1).
- For left side only, rotate the engine and transmission away from the front horizontal bolt (1) and remove front horizontal bolt (1).
- Remove rear vertical bolt (2) attaching lower control arm to cross-member.
- Remove lower control arm.
