Removal And Installation: Removal

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Insert straight pins into the four openings (1) within the radio to compress the inner retaining clips (2).
- Gently wiggle radio back and forth while pulling out releasing the inner locating pin.
- Disconnect the radio wire harness connectors (2).CAUTION:
Pulling the antenna cable straight out of the radio without pulling on the locking antenna connector could damage the cable or radio.
- Disconnect the antenna cable connectors (2) and remove the radio from the vehicle.
