Without Computer Control

NOTE: Preferred setting is the midpoint of range given.

NOTE: Make all adjustments with engine at operating temperature.

Slow Idle
1. Disconnect solevac electrical and vacuum leads.
2. Set idle speed to specification.
3. Apply manifold vacuum to vacuum actuator and set actuator speed to specification.
4. With AC, turn unit ON, apply battery voltage to the solenoid electrical connector and adjust speed to specification.

NOTE: If the vehicle is equipped with a shutdown solenoid, electrically disconnect the solenoid and set shutdown speed to specification.

Fast Idle
- Set fast idle with TCS and EGR systems disabled.
