System Controls

Cruise control switches are mounted in steering wheel and consists of a switch panel containing 4 separate switches. These switches include an "ON", "OFF", set/coast and resume/accel. To engage system, press "ON" switch, accelerate to desired speed (at least 30 MPH) and press set/coast or resume/accel switch.

System will now maintain speed until "OFF" button is pressed, brake pedal is depressed or transmission is shifted to neutral. If disengaged by brake pedal or shifting, system may be re-engaged to previously selected speed by accelerating to above 30 MPH and momentarily pressing resume/accel button.

NOTE: "OFF" position erases memory and cancels preset speed of resume function.

A higher speed can be set by pressing on accelerator until new speed is reached, then pressing set/coast or resume/accel switch. A higher speed may also be attained by pressing resume/accel switch and holding until desired speed is achieved. A lower speed can be achieved by depressing set/coast switch, waiting until vehicle slows to desired speed, and releasing button to maintain new speed.
