Air Conditioning Control Module (ACM)

ACM is located on right side of heater housing. During normal engine operation with A/C selected, the ACM sends a signal to ECU indicating A/C has been selected. The ECU in turn adjusts idle speed to compensate for increased engine load. When engine is at wide open throttle, the ECU sends a signal to the ACM to disengage A/C compressor clutch.
