Vehicle Speed Sensor

  1. Remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
  2. Connect ohmmeter to vehicle speed sensor terminal on back of instrument cluster. See Fig 1 .
  3. As speedometer shaft is turned, ohmmeter should show continuity/no continuity pattern. If not, replace vehicle speed sensor.
