Check Engine Light

Check engine light will light when ignition switch is turned on. It will remain on for several seconds after engine is started. The self-diagnostic system monitors all input signals from each sensor. If an abnormal input signal occurs, check engine light will illuminate and item fault is stored in memory by the ECU.
