Control Relay
Fuel pump relay is located on right side of center console. See Fig 1 . Relay senses when power is supplied to fuel pump. If power to fuel pump does not occur during engine cranking or driving, ECU senses a fault has occurred. ECU will set a Fault Code 42 in memory and check engine light will illuminate. Fuel pump relay is a multi-purpose relay. See CONTROL RELAY under OUTPUT SIGNALS in this article.
