Power Door Locks W/Keyless Entry: Description: Notes
The master door lock switch and keyless entry module receive constant voltage from fuse No. 2. Circuit breaker No. 22 applies battery voltage at all times to the door lock relay. Closing the master door lock switch or a door lock switch applies battery voltage to door lock relay terminal No. 1. This energizes the lock coil, causing current to travel from terminal No. 5 through normally open lock contacts to door lock relay terminal No. 4. Door lock relay terminal No. 2 is grounded.
Closing the master door unlock switch or a door unlock switch applies battery voltage to terminal No. 3 of the door lock relay. This energizes the unlock coil, allowing current to flow from terminal No. 5 through the normally open unlock contacts to terminal No. 6 of the door lock relay. Ground is provided by terminal No. 2 of the door lock relay.
