Idle Learn Procedure, Battery/Power Disconnect

1. Prior to connecting or disconnecting the negative battery cable, turn ignition switch and light switch off.

CAUTION: Failure to do so may result in damage to semiconductor parts.

2. After reconnecting negative battery terminal start and warm engine. Allow engine to idle for approximately 5 minutes under the following conditions.
Engine coolant temperature 185 - 203°F (85 - 95°C)
Lights, electric fans, accessories OFF
Transaxle neutral
Steering wheel in center position
