Fog Light Relay Test

NOTE: For headlight and taillight system testing, see STEERING COLUMN SWITCHES article in the ACCESSORIES/SAFETY EQUIPMENT Section.
  1. Both lighting systems, with and without Daytime Running Lights (DRL), use fog light relay. Relay is located in power distribution center, in engine compartment. See Fig 1 . Remove relay from connector.
  2. To test relay, connect 12-volt battery to relay terminals No. 2 and 4. See Fig 1 . Use ohmmeter to check for continuity between terminals No. 1 and 3. Replace relay if continuity does not exist.
