Stoplight Switch

  1. Ensure brake pedal height is within specification. See BRAKE PEDAL HEIGHT  under ADJUSTMENTS. Disconnect stoplight switch connector. Loosen stoplight switch lock nut.
  2. Rotate stoplight switch clockwise until brake pedal arm begins to move, then rotate counterclockwise 1/2 to 1 turn. Tighten stoplight switch lock nut. Reconnect stoplight switch connector.
  3. Distance from brake pedal arm to tip of threaded portion of stoplight switch should be .02-.04" (0.5-1.0 mm). Ensure stoplights are not illuminated with brake pedal released.
