Repair and Diagnosis: Transmission: Clutches: Description
Clutches are a single-plate, dry-disc type with an adjustable hydraulic cylinder system. The clutch pedal arm actuates a master cylinder through an adjustable pushrod. The slave cylinder pushrod in turn operates the release bearing fork. A constant running clutch release bearing is used.
CAUTION:
Clutch disc splines for 1991 models are different than for previous years. DO NOT
use any previous model year clutch discs, as clutch and input spline failure will result.
