Stator Windings Open Test

Set ohmmeter on "x1" scale. Connect ohmmeter probes to 2 stator leads. If ohmmeter does not indicate continuity, stator coil is open and must be replaced. Repeat test with other set of stator leads. DO NOT  touch probes or stator leads with fingers; an incorrect reading will result.
