Crankshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. Remove the accessory drive belts and the front crankshaft pulley.
2. Remove the air conditioner tensioner pulley (if necessary).
3. Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor wiring from the harness.
4. Remove the mounting bolts from the lower half of the timing belt cover and remove the lower half timing belt cover.
5. Remove the two bolts that attach the crankshaft position sensor to the engine block and remove the sensor.
6. Reverse procedure for installation.
