Description & Operation: Notes

The speed (cruise) control system is electronically controlled and vacuum operated. The electronic control is integrated into the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) located under the air cleaner housing. System consists of the following components: Speed Control Electronic Control Module (ECM), servo, speed control switches, vehicle speed sensor, speed control relay and brakelight switch. The F24S Turbo uses an electric motor driven vacuum pump to operate the servo.

Main speed control switch (OFF/ON) is located on left side of instrument panel and system control switched are located on right stalk below under air bag module and consists of ACC/RES, CANCEL and COAST/SET positions.
