Test SC-3A - Checking Speed Control Set/Resume Switch

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1996 Chrysler Sebring. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: Perform TEST SC-1A before proceeding.
  1. Disconnect 2-pin SET/RESUME switch connector (located behind speed control SET/RESUME switch). Connect a jumper wire between 2-pin speed control SET/RESUME switch connector terminals.
  2. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, read speed control switch voltage. If voltage is one volt or more, repair open speed control switch signal circuit Red/Light Green wire. Perform TEST SC-VER. If voltage is less than one volt, replace speed control SET/RESUME switch. Perform TEST SC-VER.
