- Guide the cooling fan into position onto the radiator tabs through the bottom of the vehicle.
- Install the lower radiator support brackets (2) to the radiator mount (5). Tighten mounting bracket bolts (3) to 8 N.m (70 in. lbs.).
- Install the upper (4) and lower (3) air seals.
- Install the front bumper support beam (1). Tighten mounting bolt to 40 N.m (30 ft. lbs.).
- ABARTH ONLY: Install the intercooler tubes.
- ABARTH ONLY: Install the two bolts that secure the intercooler tubes to the lower core support. Tighten to 9 N.m (80 in. lbs.).
- ABARTH ONLY: Connect the right intercooler quick connect (1). There should be an audible "click" when the fitting and the hose are fully seated. Pull the hose away from the tube to be sure the connection is secure.
- Connect the left intercooler quick connect (1). There should be an audible "click" when the fitting and the hose are fully seated. Pull the hose away from the tube to be sure the connection is secure.
- ABARTH ONLY: Connect the turbocharger outlet hose (2) at the lower quick connect located behind the cooling fan (3). Pull the hose away from the tube to be sure the connection is secure.
- Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to FASCIA, FRONT, INSTALLATION .
- Lower vehicle.
- Install the upper mounting screws (4) for the cooling fan. Tighten mounting bolt to 8 N.m (70 in. lbs.).
- Install the wire harness connectors (3) to the cooling fan.
- Connect the resistor (1) harness connector at the cooling fan (2).
- Install the engine cover and air intake assembly.
- ABARTH ONLY: Install the engine cover and the air intake assembly (1).
- ABARTH ONLY: Connect the fresh air intake hose (2).
- ABARTH ONLY: Connect the two vacuum fittings (4), loosen the clamp (3) at the air to turbocharger inlet tube.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
