Description And Operation: Operation
The keyless entry receiver module works with the following systems:
- Passive Entry - The keyless entry receiver module receives key ID data from the FOBIK and passes the ID data to the Radio Frequency Hub (RFH) for verification for unlocking or locking request.
- Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) System - When the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter (FOBIK), buttons are pressed the FOBIK then sends the requested action to the keyless entry receiver module, which then takes the information and passes the information along to the RFH.
- Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM) - The Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM) sensors located in each wheel on the vehicle, transmits a Radio Frequency (RF) signal to the keyless entry receiver module including any information about the tires. The keyless entry receiver module then sends the information received from the TPM sensors to the RFH.
- Vehicle Theft System - The keyless entry receiver module receives key ID data from the FOBIK and passes the ID data to the RFH for verification for starting and security functions.
