July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Diagnostic Test

  1. CHECK CORRECT INSTALLATION OF SIDE IMPACT SENSOR, PASSENGER SIDE, ON STRUT 
    1. Go to Key-OFF status.
    2. at least 1 minute.
    3. Ensure that the side impact sensor, passenger side, on strut is correctly installed.

      Is the side impact sensor, passenger side, on strut correctly installed?

      Yes 

      • Go to Step  2.

      No 

      • Correctly install the side impact sensor, passenger side, on strut, then go to Step  2.
  2. CHECK FOR THE ERROR PERSISTENCE ON THE SIDE IMPACT SENSOR, PASSENGER SIDE, ON STRUT 
    1. Connect the negative battery lead.
    2. Go to key-on condition (engine off or on).
    3. Perform the Airbag Module error deletion procedure.
    4. Check if the error is still present.

      Is the error still present?

      Yes 

      • Replace the side impact sensor, passenger side, on strut.

      No 

      • End of diagnosis.
