Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the engine belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, CENTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION , BELLY PAN, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION , BELLY PAN, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION , BELLY PAN, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION , BELLY PAN, SIDE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION , BELLY PAN, TRANSMISSION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
3. Remove the right front wheel.
4. Remove the air induction tube from throttle body to intercooler hose. Refer to COOLER AND HOSES, CHARGE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

5. Disconnect the knock sensor electrical connector (1b).
6. Remove the screw (1a) and remove the knock sensor (1c).

INSTALLATION 

1. Position the knock sensor and tighten the new bolt to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
2. Connect the knock sensor electrical connector.
3. Install the air induction tube from throttle body to intercooler hose. Refer to COOLER AND HOSES, CHARGE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
4. Install the engine belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, CENTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION , BELLY PAN, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION , BELLY PAN, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION , BELLY PAN, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION , BELLY PAN, SIDE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION , BELLY PAN, TRANSMISSION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
5. Install the right front wheel.
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
