Module, Transmission Control (TCM): Removal

Remove the battery tray. Refer to REMOVAL .
Disconnect the electrical connections from the Transmission Control Module (TCM).
Remove the fastener and disconnect the manual shift lever from the TCM (1).
NOTE:
Do not turn the shaft more than 60 degrees from the marking, otherwise damage may occur.

Retain the position of the TCM markings (1).

NOTE:
Do not apply any lateral pressure when removing the TCM as damage to the connector pins could occur.
Remove the fasteners and carefully remove the TCM by pulling straight up.
