Outlet, Power: Removal
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Open the power outlet cover (1a).
- Using special tool (special tool #9857, Remover, Power Outlet) (2a) engage the tool in the recesses (2b) of the power outlet, and carefully remove the power outlet (1b) by sliding it out of the housing.
- Disconnect the power outlet wire harness connector (3a) and remove the outlet from the vehicle.
- If necessary remove the cover with flange (5a) by disengaging it from the panel.
